Michael Graves: Redesigning the Hospital Room

You probably have heard of Michael Graves as an award-winning architect or the designer of furniture commonly found in Target stores. However, you might not know that he was paralyzed from the waist down in 2003 from an unknown disease. In this talk filmed at the Medicine X Conference at Stanford last year, Graves shares how his experience as a patient helped him come up with new ideas for improving hospital room furniture.
